Welcome to the August 2009 edition of tREBLEFREE R&B.
I realize that by now, the world is overrun with Michael Jackson news, tributes, media ramblings and whatnot, but because of what Michael Jackson meant to me musically, and the fact that this podcast and mix is dedicated to the love of R&B, I could NOT let this month go by without doing a proper homage to one of the best musical figures of our time.
Since August was Michael’s birth month, I’m looking at this as more of birthday celebration than an event of mourning. It is my sincere hope that you enjoy this podcast/mix, and that it truly allows you to reflect on some of the true talent that Michael shared with the world during his brief time on earth.
